His research areas of Interest are the following: Energy production, Energy planning, and Modelling, Energy Materials, Energy Policy, Energy Efficiency and Digitalization, Environmental Engineering, and Petroleum and Gas engineering. Accomplishments and Contributions including publications:  He lectured the following courses : Hydropower, Solar PV and Thermal Energy, Electrotechnics, Energy Efficiency and smart Grid system.  He trained more than 120 engineers and co-conducted/supervised more than 10 research projects.  In 2022, he published a book chapter entitled "Green Energy for Sustainable Agriculture : Design and Testing of an Innovative Greenhouse with an Energy-Efficient Cooling System Powered by a Hybrid Energy System for Urban Agriculture" in “R Kyamakya, K., Bokoro, P.N. (eds) Recent Advances in Energy Systems, Power and Related Smart Technologies. Studies in Systems, Decision and Control, vol 472..  In 2021, he conducted research entitled "Design and sizing of an agrivoltaics system suited to urban and peri-urban agriculture : case of the market gardening area of Kingabwa/ Kinshasa-RD Congo”.  In 2021, he co-published a paper entitled "Analysis of the argilosity of an oil reservoir by geostatistical approach: Case of the Cenomanian of the Makelekese field (Onshore of the RD Congo)"  In 2018 he co-conducted research entitled "Design of smart grid architecture and energy forecasting based on machine learning algorithms for the optimization of electricity distribution in the city of Kinshasa. Case study: the microgrid of the University of Kinshasa campus.  In 2018 he co-published a paper entitled "Contribution of Landsat 8 imagery in the detection and mapping of lineaments in the surroundings of Madimba, in West Congolian (Central Kongo, Democratic Republic of Congo)
