• Provide technical expertise, coordinate, and ensure planned research deliverables are met • Provide technical advice to project beneficiaries, review technical reports &monitor technical activities carried out by responsible parties. • Liaise with relevant National Government Ministries, County Governments, communities and other key stakeholders • Contribute to the planning, implementation and facilitation of the inception, mid-term and final workshops. • Facilitate effective communication of project progress, outputs and findings to all stake-holders • Collaborate with relevant specialists to establish and maintain close collaboration with external partners and all activities related to air quality and climate change. • Promote the project and its outputs and findings on a national, regional & international plat-form. • Oversee preparation and implementation of project M&E plan, project communication and knowledge management plan

• Provide strategic and technical advice on the role of Sub-National Entities in climate action • Establish and maintain sound and productive working relationships with stakeholders at different levels including end users, CBOs, Private sector, NGOs and government. • Provide direction and leadership to projects teams and responsible parties in advocating projects objectives • Resource mobilize to scale up the activities of the project • Coordinating the 47 County Governments on Kenya's non-state climate action. • Ensuring that all interested Parties are well informed about the projects’ activities and goals. • Executing Focused Group Discussions comprising of a 2-day National workshop on Non-state Climate Action. • Transcribe the qualitative data from the FDG and entering it into the TCG database. • Engaging stakeholders on the outputs of the project towards developing the ANSCA platform.

• Monitoring bills before National Assembly, Senate and County Assemblies relating to Water, Climate change, Environment and Natural Resources and policies • Monitoring international best practices; County best practices; and emerging trends& technologies with respect to Water, Climate Change, Environment and Natural Resources. • Monitoring inter-county agreements relating to trans-boundary Natural Resources and facilitated information sharing amongst county governments& other stakeholders. • Facilitating and coordinating committee meetings and developing reports. • Representing the Council of Governors in matters related to Climate Change, Environment and Natural Resource management.
