The Energy commission was established under the ACT 541 of the Act of Parliament of the Republic of Ghana, with a primary responsibility of regulating the market players in the country's energy industry. I interned with the Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Climate Change Department of the commission which operates under the ACT 831 of the Act of Parliament which basically provides development, management and utilization of RE in the country, during my internship, i was responsible for: 1. Filing documents of Energy Companies 2. Processing documents for Energy Companies that apply for license for their activities, production, installation, maintenance, importation, etc 3. Inspection of facilities and works of companies that apply for license for approval 4. Any other official duties assigned

Cocoa Processing Company, the oldest Cocoa Processing Company in the country, that produces the famous Golden Tree chocolates, i interned with the electrical and electronics department and i was responsible for the following:  Installation of electrical equipment and machines  Servicing of motors and other electrical machines  Replacing of dim light bulbs  Making of extension board upon request

 Replacing of spoilt sockets and switches  Assisting in servicing and installation of air conditioners and other electrical appliances  Assisting in fixing faulty appliances

 Conduct assigned classes at times scheduled  Maintain lesson plans as required by the school policy  Assign tasks and homework to students  Marking class works, assignments and examination papers.
