Sévérin is a Master of Science Graduate in Water Policy at the Pan African University Institute of Water and Energy Sciences Incl. Climate Change (PAUWES) in Tlemcen, Algeria. He completed a Master degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Management, Ecohydrology Track at the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin in 2017. Sévérin served as a volunteer of the second Cohort of the Service des Volontaires de l’Université d’Abomey-Calavi (SVUAC) after his bachelor degree, which gave him basis for serving community. As part of work experience, Sévérin worked as Junior Expert of Geographical Information System (GIS) at Agromillenium Consulting and Service Cabinet in Benin in 2017, and since September 2017 he is the contact person in Charge of Training and Communication at ONG OMINI, based in Benin. Due to his interest in Water Innovation Policy, Sévérin did his research internship at the African Observatory of Science, Technology and Innovation (AOSTI)-African Union in Malabo, Equatorial-Guinea. In 2017, Sévérin was awarded of a research grant by the African Water Association (AfWA) in Benin where he conducted a research on the risk of contamination of household drinking water. Sévérin is also part of some youth organizations where he played leadership role. As evidence, his is the current elected Coordinator of the “Réseau Béninois du Parlement Mondial des Jeunes pour l’Eau”, in the region of Couffo, Bénin.
His fields of interest are Water quality and environmental health, Innovation Policy in Water Sector; Climate Change, Risk Assessment, and Management of Extremes.
Sévérin loves God, music, dance, poetry and humor, and knowledge sharing.
